Lise hails originally from Quebec, came to Vancouver to work at Expo ’86, and fell in love with the West Coast of Canada. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and International Relations at University of British Columbia, followed by a certificate in Translation Studies. Her lifelong passion for languages and cultures led to the creation of LAT Multilingual in 1999. Lise believes that effective communication is the key to building relationships, and she continuously seeks innovative ways of adapting LAT’s language services to emerging tools and marketing trends.
Joëlle has more than 15 years of experience in the language industry. Based in Montreal, her deep understanding of the Quebec cultural landscape, combined with a keen sense of operational excellence allows her to manage our language services with a solid focus on quality and customer service. Joëlle is a certified member of the OTTIAQ, Quebec’s professional translators association.
Jonathan has spent over 20 years helping a diverse list of brands understand their audience and leverage technology and data to build better product and customer experiences. Based in Montreal, he has a strong understanding of cultural nuances and is bilingual in English and French. Jonathan has worked with brands of all sizes including leading global players such as Walmart, Target, Williams-Sonoma, MasterCard, Dell, The New York Times, Ford and Google. Data-driven to the core, he is a recognized authority in the spheres of digital marketing, analytics, customer voice, and customer experience.
Jane has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of International Business and Economics in China. She has more than 15 years’ diverse experience in accounting services both in China and Canada. Jane resides in Vancouver.
Julie graduated with distinction from Concordia University with a double Bachelor of Arts (Specialization in Translation and Major in French studies and didactics). Fluent in English and French, Julie has 13 years’ diverse experience as a French translator, revisor and project manager. She resides in Montréal where she manages our translation team, coordinates the workload, and serves as the creative lead for our marketing adaptation and transcreation projects. Julie is a certified member of the OTTIAQ, Quebec’s professional translators association.
Dominique has a Bachelor’s degree in translation from the University of Montreal and extensive translation and project management experience. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Greek.
With a bachelor’s degree in translation from Université de Montréal under her belt, Sarah first embarked on her professional journey as a translation project coordinator, before becoming a French as a second language teacher for several years. Today she has finally circled back to her first love by joining LAT’s team as a project manager. She is fascinated by languages, particularly by etymology and the evolution of words. Sarah lives in Greater Montreal, but dreams of visiting all kinds of unusual places.
Originally from Chengdu, Xin holds an undergraduate degree in English Education, a graduate degree in Comparative Literature, and a Masters of Education in Educational Studies, Society, Culture, and Politics in Education. Xin worked as a public servant in China for 10 years and leverages this experience to effectively create ties for businesses looking to engage with the Chinese market.
Originally from Australia, May has a combined Bachelor of International Studies (French)/Bachelor of Design (Fashion) from the University of Technology, Sydney. She has been fascinated by different languages and cultures from a young age. May speaks English, Burmese, and French and spent 1 year studying abroad at the University of Poitiers, France in 2009. She is a passionate, creative thinker and analytical strategist who loves the art of storytelling. May believes that our differences are what make the world so special and embraces opportunities to travel and learn about different cultures.
